English → Pt BOOK I Level 9/10

Most highest, most good, most potent, most omnipotent; most merciful, yet most just; most hidden, yet most present; most beautiful, yet most strong, stable, yet incomprehensible; unchangeable, yet all-changing; never new, never old;

Altíssimo, bondosíssimo, potentíssimo, onipotentíssimo; misericordiosíssimo, mas justíssimo; ocultíssimo, mas presentíssimo; belíssimo, mas fortíssimo; estável, mas incompreensível; imutável, mas tudo mudando; nunca novo, nunca velho;

all-renewing, and bringing age upon the proud, and they know it not; ever working, ever at rest; still gathering, yet nothing lacking;

tudo renovando, e fazendo envelhecer os soberbos sem que eles o saibam; sempre operando, sempre em repouso; sempre colhendo, sem nada carecer;

supporting, filling, and overspreading; creating, nourishing, and maturing; seeking, yet having all things.

sustentando, enchendo e cobrindo; criando, nutrindo e amadurecendo; buscando, tendo já todas as coisas.

Thou lovest, without passion; art jealous, without anxiety; repentest, yet grievest not; art angry, yet serene; changest Thy works, Thy purpose unchanged; receivest again what Thou findest, yet didst never lose; never in need, yet rejoicing in gains; never covetous, yet exacting usury.

Thou receivest over and above, that Thou mayest owe; and who hath aught that is not Thine?

Recebes além do devido, para ficares devendo; e quem possui algo que não seja Teu?

Thou payest debts, owing nothing; remittest debts, losing nothing.

Pagas dívidas sem dever nada; perdoas dívidas sem perder nada.

And what had I now said, my God, my life, my holy joy? or what saith any man when he speaks of Thee? Yet woe to him that speaketh not, since mute are even the most eloquent.

E que disse eu agora, meu Deus, minha vida, minha santa alegria? Ou que diz qualquer homem quando fala de Ti? Ai, porém, daquele que não fala de Ti, pois até os mais eloquentes são mudos.

Oh! that I might repose on Thee! Oh! that Thou wouldest enter into my heart, and inebriate it, that I may forget my ills, and embrace Thee, my sole good!

Oh! que eu possa repousar em Ti! Oh! que Tu entrasses no meu coração e o inebriasses, para que eu esqueça os meus males e Te abrace, meu único bem!

What art Thou to me? In Thy pity, teach me to utter it.

O que és Tu para mim? Na Tua misericórdia, ensina-me a dizê-lo.

Or what am I to Thee that Thou demandest my love, and, if I give it not, art wroth with me, and threatenest me with grievous woes?

Ou o que sou eu para Ti, que me exiges o amor, e, se não To der, Te iras comigo e me ameaças com grandes males?
