I from my lyre the music smite,

ふさわしい言葉に不足することがない。

Nor want for justly matching words.

海と空のあらゆる力、

All forces of the sea and air,

丘と平野のあらゆる趣を、

All interests of hill and plain,

晴れた季節には、こう歌うことができる。

I so can sing, in seasons fair,
